“Touching Image of Two Fathers Embracing Their Newly Adopted Son Spreads Across the Internet”

Photographer Lindsay Foster specializes in capturing beautiful and heartwarming sessions with newborn babies. Her popularity soared when she released the photos of Milo’s birth on July 28th. Milo is the son of BJ Barone, 34, and Frankie Nelson, 44, who are both teachers from Toronto, Canada.

These images beautifully depict the parents’ emotions as they received their child shortly after the birth on July 27th. The photos became a sensation on social media, particularly one that shows the parents holding the baby against their bare chests, utilizing the “kangaroo method” for comforting the child.

Just before a gestational surrogate gave birth to their son in Kingston, Ontario, a midwife instructed new dads Frank Nelson and BJ Barone to remove their shirts so they could hold their baby against their bare chests for skin-to-skin bonding. Lindsay Foster, a friend of the couple, captured the moment when Milo was held by his fathers for the first time, even before the umbilical cord was cut.

In the photos, Frankie Nelson, 44, is seen holding Milo to his chest while Barone, 34, has his arms around both of them, and tears of happiness are shed by the new dads. The raw emotions captured by Foster represent the unconditional love and pure happiness they experienced.

The photo has already received over nine thousand shares and 50 thousand likes, accompanied by positive comments wishing health and happiness to the new family. Lindsay Foster wrote on social media, “Words cannot express how wonderful it was to witness this incredible moment. But I am hopeful that these images can make you feel the deep love and admiration everyone felt for this surrogate and the baby’s new parents. These dads will certainly be two amazing parents.”

Frankie also shared the image on her Facebook page with an emotional caption. She described it as their favorite photo, including everyone who made their son’s birth special, such as the midwives on the right and the surrogate mother and her husband on the left. She mentioned that the baby had just come out of Kathy (the surrogate), and the umbilical cord was still intact. It was a day she would never forget.

On the photographer’s Facebook page, the teacher thanked the comments and expressed that she and her husband, BJ, respect opposing opinions but appreciate the special moment they are going through. Polite and respectful, she also stated that Milo will learn to respect everyone, including those with opposing opinions.

“Thanks to everyone who took the time to like, comment, and share our picture! This truly was an amazing time in our lives, captured forever by Lindsay Foster’s lovely photography. We were so lucky to have a beautiful, healthy baby boy! All comments posted are respected, and although we may not agree with the negatives, the positives outweigh them. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This is a moment of pure love and acceptance. Milo is surrounded by unconditional love, and he will grow up knowing that there are many different types of families and will learn to accept everyone, including intolerant people. Milo was born during World LGBT Pride Week. The image represents everything about pride. Love has no color, no gender, and no sexual preference. Love is unconditional. Thanks again, from the bottom of our hearts!”
