Unforgettable Moments Immortalized Through the Lens of Photographers

The International Association of Professional Birth Photographers has once again announced the winners of its yearly competition, and the honorees for 2021 are truly breathtaking:

This moving photo was named the competition’s First Place winner.

Titled “Daddy’s Girls,” this captivating image was captured by Ashley Marston of Ashley Marston Birth Photography based in Canada. Additionally, the association’s members selected it as the Best in Postpartum category.

Another extraordinary shot, showcasing a baby emerging from their mother, won the Best in Category: Birth Details.

Named “The Origin of Life,” this remarkable photograph was taken by Charlene Foerster of Charlene Foerster Fotografie in Germany. It also received recognition as the Best in Birth Details category.

A heartwarming image titled “The Greatest Love in the World” by Ape Lucy Silva Barbosa of Ape Lucy Fotografia in Brazil was chosen as the Best Overall photograph. It portrays a mother breastfeeding her newborn and won the Best in Category: Fresh 48.

The United States’ Jami Edgar from Touch of Hart Photography captured the shot “Nourish” of a woman minutes away from delivering, which won the Best in Category: Labor.
